Your Ministry Should Be As Unique As Your Church
Finally, a marriage ministry workshop that helps you design a ministry unique to your church. The FamilyLife Marriage Ministry Workshop is based on two premises: no one knows your church better than you and no two churches are alike. Therefore, a one-size-fits-all marriage ministry really won’t fit your church.
For 40 years FamilyLife has helped thousands of churches minister to marriages. From that experience we have developed a one-day workshop that takes marriage champions from “We don’t know where to start” to “This is something we can do.”
At the end of the workshop, you will have a marriage discipleship plan you can implement that is customized to your church’s vision, culture, structure, and demographics.
What To Expect
This is not a peer-over-the-fence workshop to see if you’re interested in marriage ministry. And we aren’t
going to lecture you on the how-to’s of a successful marriage ministry.
Instead, our workshop is hands-on. We’ll guide you through a process to help you design a ministry to
marriages that you can sustain, and then we’ll give you time during the workshop to put your plan on paper.
The day will volley back and forth between us sharing concepts and examples in 15 to 20 minute segments and then you applying the concepts to fit your church’s vision, culture, structure, and demographics. Plus, group sharing and discussion will help you learn from other leaders in the workshop.
Who Should Attend?
The workshop is designed for churches launching a marriage ministry and churches seeking to re-tool their marriage ministry. If your church has a marriage ministry and it is going well, we’ll still be glad to have you attend! Many church leaders in marriage ministry gain new insight or perspective by working through the exercises.
