Families today are being weakened by fast- paced busy lifestyles that are focused more on doing than relationship.

Couples are finding themselves in crisis and wondering how they got there with little hope of restoring the brokenness in their relationships.

This training is for those who are interested in mentoring couples to help them understand the biblical design of marriage, and learn tools and skills to improve their relationships and family life.

So What is Marriage Mentoring?

Marriage mentoring is a process for training key couples to mentor other couples. Most marriages need far more than 'cognitive' adjustments, we believe they need a 'spiritual awakening'. Doing this in a careful way leads to repentance and forgiveness. For some that might mean salvation. For others that may mean revival of their hearts towards God and each other. In the end, God gets the glory when people find truth, turn towards Him and find a healing that only God provides. It is a hands-on method of mediation and teaching truth, empowering couples to solve their own issues. It is unique in that it’s very effective for premarital couples, couples wanting to enrich their marriage and couples in crisis.



Mentors who complete this training are prepared to lead a couple through a ten-week mentoring process involving one meeting per week. It is based on biblical principles and provides a 21-page scripture reference guide, question guides, homework recommendations, how to recognize the four relationship killers, and many other resources. Life transformation happens through a committed personal relationship with Christ that opens their hearts to biblical truths. Relationship problems are spiritual problems of the heart and through this training you will be equipped to guide couples to the relationship God designed and desires for them.
